The child development is defined as the course of mental, physical and emotional changes occuring in a child from the time of birth to adolescence.
The child development includes physical, social, interactive, psychological, ethical, linguistic, intellectual and cognitive aspects.
It is very important for a teacher to understand the process of child development. Understanding the child development period helps teacher in better bonding and connecting with his students. This provides a sense of comfort and security among the students.
Understanding child development enables teachers to help student learn better, conduct properly and manage different situations with more patience and skillfully.
