If you were planning to run a marathon, give an example of a day's food intake on one of your 21 mile training days. Let's say you were going to do this training run around 5:30 p.m. at the end of your work day. Use you personal height and weight to determine your caloric and protein needs. Include detailed protein, carbohydrate, fat and fluid recommendations and timing of meal/snacks. Explain the nutritional rationale for all your suggestions.
