Is it necessary to attract foreign people to get job to our countries? What benefits for our countries?

This question does not have a definitive answer with regards to whether hiring foreigners is necessary or not. Nonetheless, hiring foreigners can be assessed based on the advantages and disadvantages it brings to the host country. With increased globalization, it seems reasonable to attract foreigners to work for our countries as this allows for utilizing knowledge and/or technology from outside that would otherwise not be available domestically. Additionally, attracting foreigners implies attracting Foreign Direct Investment in the country, which in turn improves balance of payments for the country. Contrastly, attracting foreign people also has a downfall in terms of loss of jobs to the domestic employees as it increases competition in the host country. As long as attracting foreign employment does not hurt the domestic employment situations, it is beneficial to attract foreign people to work in the host country.
