List two major differences between the urogenital system of male vs female fetal pigs.

• The urogenital opening in the female is immediately ventral to the anal opening.
• In  Male, the scrotal sac is ventral to the anal opening and a urogenital opening is just posterior to the umbilical cord.
• In female, there will be a fleshy protrusion ventral near the anal opening called the genital papilla.

• In the male, the urethral folds extend along the entire length of the growing genetalia and fuse along it, carrying the opening of the urethra to the tip of the genital opening.
• The urogenital folds also fuse and  form scrotal sacs which close over the rest of the urogenital sinus opening.
• If it is a male, there is long brown tubes on either side of the folded-back umbilical cord. At the end of these tubes are the rounded testes. A whitish sack attached to the testis is the epididymis, which stores sperm cells.

• If it is female, the ovaries at the base of the umbilical cord or urinary bladder.
• Directly below the ovaries, there is a flap of tissue called the horns of the uterus; This part leads to the main body of the uterus.
