AIDS Epidemic: Though lack of awareness about AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) and its control is the major cause of AIDS epidemic during 1980's federal government also responsible for this because it was not recognized as an emergency. Some diseases such as cholera spread very quickly from one person to another, which needs immediate attention to control the spread. AIDS actually did not receive the immediate attention because it spreads slowly and kills a person gradually compared to cholera. So, obviously, the drug crisis arises because it was not expected and drug development for AIDS treatment is also still developing during that time.

The spread of flu pandemic can be prevented by considering the following strategies:

1). Early identification of the disease symptoms and isolation of the suspected and infected patients.

2). Avoiding group communication of the people and providing preventive medications available

3). Development of flu vaccines. We need to take a flu vaccine every year because the flu viruses adapt to the developed immunity and evolve new virions that are not sensitive to the previous vaccines. So, flu vaccines are released every year according to the newly evolved strains.
