All painkillers carry risks , while no drug completely safe , taking over the counter painkillers daily for aches and pains is not recommended use.Heavy or long term use of some of these medicines such as ibuprofen, naproxyn and higher dose aspirin can cause chronic kidney disease known as chronic interstitial nephritis.

Common side effects are,

-Constipation. -this common side effects of opioids can be lessened. An increase in fluids, an increase in dietary fiber and moderate exercise can all have an effect.

Nausea Nausea andvomiting sometimes occur in the first day of taking opioid medication.

Sedation drowsiness, or clouded thinking sometimes opioid can cause sedation drowsiness or sleepiness for the first day .Some people become confused disorientated after receiving pain medication for pain .

Slowed breathing. -Opioids can cause slowbreathing at high doses. We want to monitor respiration and other vital signs closely .
