In your country there is a proposed plan to have all personal information (health, education, bank, immigration data etc) encoded on your national identification card. Would you support this measure? Please give reasons for your answer.
Each and every country of the world has it's own national identity cards . In some countries like India we have different types of national identity cards like adhar card, electronic photo identity card, pan card etc. These cards prove our identity. We use these cards to purchase sim cards, use these for different types of verification purposes.
Many countries have proposed a plan to have the personal information of the person mentioned on these cards. The personal information such as health, education, bank details, immigration data, martial status etc is being planned to mention on it. To some extent this move is worthy because a person is easily accessible. The health related information will help to know the health status of a person. The blood group mentioned in it will help to get immediate help when an accident occurs. The educational details will help to know the educational background fast. The bank details of the person should not be mentioned as we know that there are increase in the Cyber crimes around the world. The bank details should be confidential.
The personal information is encoded on these national identification cards. This information is easily accessible by scanning the codes mentioned in the card. Just like as we in India could get the information, simply scanning the barcode on adhar card.
Hope you got the answer.
