Imago dei (Image of god)

1. "God created man in his own image"
2. It symbolizes relationship between human being and god
3. God created man in his own image and gave the powe to rule other creatures. God gave power to human beings, over the birds of the heaven, fish of the sea, livestock, and overall earth.
4. People as gods counterpart in the universe. God created humans for fellowship with him and human beings relate to one another

6. Imago dei defines human life is worth much more than hundreds of birds or fields of lilies

8. God wants us to love one another. A nurse or a health care provider can see god in patients. Infact they are serving the god by treating the patients

10. Imago dei promotes treating patient irrespective of caste, colour and religion. All human beings are image of god. Religions are promoted by human beings. When it comes to health care as a nurse or health care provider, they should consider equality in all patients. Do not favour any patient because of power, caste or religion. As go taught us all are equal before him.
11. As a nurse while treating a patient never involve in malpractice, negligence, invasion of privacy, slander, libel, battery, assault and false imprisonment.
12. Whatever the care we are giving to the patients, it is like we are giving to god, which make us to treat the patient with respect
13. In health care the priority should be ethics and values rather than slaves of technology. Things should come seconday, give respect to persons. Superiority of spirit is before matter. All these concepts promotes effective care and patient nurse relationship

15. While providing effective care to the patients , the aim should not be only to know the disease, chart, notes, blood type or a tag but to know a person who is suffering with fear and trembling
