Teas test ia also known as Test  Essential Academic Skills. This is a type of entrance test conducted by some of the nursing schools and colleges.The test is mainly conducted to select the appropriate candidates for the course, This particular test will helps the institution head and other academic workers to predict the student's success in nursing. The Teas test helps to identify the candidate's skills in reading and understanding the subjects like , math, science, English and language.

The test is usually conducted by the nursing schools in US.This test will helps to identify the the capabilities and capacities of those candidates to join for nursing programme.Apart from nursing course, some of the health sciences courses also made TEAS test as mandatory criteria for the admission to the course.The students can register their names in the TEAS test register portal and choose their place of wish to attend the exam.In Some of the nursing colleges or schools, they have their own facilities to attend the TEAS test. The test  consisit of 170 multiple choice questions and time allotted to complete the test is 3 hours and 29 minutes for each candidate.
