Answer : domain archae
According to Carl Woese their are 3 domains of life -
1) Domain bacteria :
- They are unicellular,colonial or filamaentous,prokaryotic
organisms with no nuclear membrane.

- They lack a well defined nucleus, nucleolus is absent.

- Membrane bound organelles are absent.

- They contain 70 S Ribosome.

- Cell wall is made up of peptidoglycan called murein.

- They live in normal habitats.

2) Domain archae :
- These are actually a type of bacteria.

- These are special since they live in some harsh habitats such
as hot undersea thermal
vents, extreme salty areas, marshy areas and highly acidic
areas.

- Cell wall is made up of peptidoglycan called pseudomurein.

- They also lack a well defined nucleus i.e. they are
prokaryotes.

3) Domain eukarya :
- They are unicellular ,colonial or multicellular,Eukaryotic
organisms.

- These organisms may or may not have cell wall.

- They have a well defined nucleus.

- They contain 80 S Ribosome ,in addition to 70 S in Mitochondria
and Chlorophyll.

- Membrane bound organelles are present.
