A)Crude death rate:this is considered a fair indicator of the comparative health of the people.it is defined as the number of deaths per 1000 population per year in a given community.
B)Infant mortality rate:it is the ratio of deaths under 1year of age in a given year to the total number of live birth s in the same year; expressed as a rate per1000 live births.
C)Child mortality:it is defined as the number of deaths at ages1_4 years in a given year,per 1000 children in that age group at the midpoint of the year concerned.
D)disease specific mortality: mortality rates can be computed for specific diseases.( Cancer,accidents,diabetes etc).
Geographical area: INDIA
Infant mortality rate:the projected rates for ENMR for 2017 and 2020 are 20and 18 per 1000live births ,whereas that for late NMR are 4and 4per 1000 live births,repectively.
IMR in India has declined by three points from 37per 1000 live births in 2015 to 34 per 1000 live births in 2016.
Adult mortality rate: in 2015 ,adult mortality rate in India was 31.02deaths per 1000 population.

Neonatal mortality rate:the SDGs set a target of less than 70 deaths per 100000 live births by 2030.indias National health target a rate of 100 by 2020.
