Why is Health Communication important? Be sure to support your response with research and provide a reference list below.
Construct a story showing how health communication can be used. For example, pretend to be a medical professional explaining side effects from a medication to a patient. If you use this example you would have to research a medication, list the medication, and demonstrate how you would explain the side effects to a patient. You can use examples from your readings in Chapter 3 and Chapter 4.

As a medical professional

When I am treating a patient who is having headache, fever, muscle aches and he is also suffering from arthritis I recommended paracetamol to the patient because it is both pain and fever reducer.

I would first expalin the reason for prescribing paracetamol tablets for his condition because he is suffering from fever, headache, and muscle pain and he is also a arthritis patient.I would explain that paracetamol helps in reducing all this issues he is suffering. Then I would explain the side effects that may result for using paracetamol.

Paracetamol may cause serious harm and damage liver if it is overdosed so I would explain about the necessary dosage with the patient so he can remember and understand the reason for following the instructions for taking the required dosage.

I would explain that he should not take more than 3 alcohol baverages and side effects include vomtings, nausea, constipation.

If skin rash, itching, bloody stools and cloudy urine, pain in the lower back, red spots on skin then I would insists that the patient should consult doctor because he needs immediate medical attention.

After explaining the necessary information I would ask if he has any questions related to his condition and if there is then I would expalin to him.
