I also discovered, during our discussion, that he has some very intelligent and innovative family members other than his father which brings up an interesting question. Are some of us born with a predisposition to being innovative?
Ans) Innovation is incorporation of new ideas in the existing styles, providing new solutions to old problems, discovering new ways to enhance productivity etc. Innovation is inculcated in various ways like through close observation of situations, things ,behaviours etc. and then critically examining it and providing creative ideas.
However anyone can acquire the skill of innovation but new studies are suggesting that it is also DNA linked. Like how some kids are more innovative since their childhood. Our brain is divided into two halves and is connected through bunch of fibres known as Corpus Callosum, scientists believe that people with creative skills have shorter corpus callosum and it allows both sides of brain to specialise in their own fields.
Although everyone is born with ability to acquire skills but some are born with more ability to become innovative and genes play an important part in it.
That is why we observe some people whose ancestors were intelligent tend to be more intelligent and also some children are born with more skills than other children.
