Sales force are the hard working and very important employees of any organisation. The sales force ensures and maintains the availability of the product at every stage of the supply chain. The sales force ensures the availability of the right product, at the right place and at the right time.
The importance of the sales force at different stages in the communication hierarchies is different. When the products are to be provided to the various distributors than the sales force ensure that a large number of distributors are attracted and motivated to procure the company's products. When it comes to the wholesalers then the sales force offers such a plans to them that appeals the wholesaler to buy their products. They ensure that the amount to be paid by the wholesaler is appropriate based on the market conditions so that the wholesalers remain attached to the company. The sales force ensures that there is huge profits to the organisation.
When it comes to influencing the retailers and shopkeepers to sell company's product than much hard work is done by the retailers. The sales force literally persuades each and every retailer and shopkeeper to influence them and ensure that they sell the company's products. For this they offer good plans to the retailers also which provide more benefits to them than any other company.
The sales force also motivates and influences the customers to buy the products. The sales force have the true knowledge of the market condition and helps the organisation in making its plans.
