Respond in 175 words, provide an example of how an international company changes its distribution channels and/or marketing messages based on country?
1st part:-
Suppose an international company has many existences across the globe. The process of distribution may not the same for all countries as each country has variable distribution channels to sell the products across different segments. In a particular country, it has extended its business, and that country’s people mostly buy products from an online/direct internet portal. For such purposes, it is necessary to sell products through a direct online platform. Like for other countries, it may have distribution channels through a wholesaler, direct sales, retailer, dealer, etc. But, it may not the same for others; the distribution channels will change based on particulars country’s trend of selling products.
2nd part:
In some countries, people concentrate on newspapers, email, newsletters, etc to getting marketing messages. The companies target those areas to let audiences know about the availability of products with their specifications. But, for other countries, the marketing messages are required to send through social media. So, it has to keep on changing as per the requirements and process of a particular country.
