Good governance is an important key to any successful business. It is essential to achieve certain objectives and tasks as well as to maintain legal and ethical standings in front of stake holders and wide community.
IT Governance or Information Technology governance defines the strategies , principles, rules and processes that are effective in decision making for business process or an organization.
IT Governance team has responsibility to achieve the goals of e-Business and make the strategies to maintain the Readiness of the business .
The two major components of IT Governance are:
1) Decision Making Authority
The IT Governance Team should have authority to take important decisions regarding the business operations, strategies to achieve the objectives and goals of the company.They have authority to take decision to meet relevant legal and regulatory obligations
2) Responsibility.
The main responsibility in IT governance is to assure the stakeholders that they can invest in your organization IT services.
