Expert Solution

answer-

The sales promotion techniques which i would use in stimulating sales of Car "Zoom" are-

Exchange schemes- Under this scheme, our company will exchange thier old cars and sell the new cars at low price based on old car sold. This is effective because it would create value to customers in terms of get rid of old vehicle and get new one.

Finance scheme- Purchase of car is not easy decision as it requires quite big investment of money so Customers may look for schemes like no Cost EMI, low interest EMI etc so that they can make car purchase decision easier.

Bundle discounts- We will sell car accessories with Zoom car at discount price if they buy the car in limited period offer. This way customers will get cars with discount accessories and company get rid of old inventory.

Free service- Free service for two years after purchase will be attractive deal. Post purchase behavior will be satisfied when customers get car service at right time and free of cost.

The one trade sales promotion i would recommend is Trade Deals in which Our company will persuade merchants to sell our cars and get special concessions. They will get allowances and free point of purchase (POP) display to attract customers.

The one business sales promotion will be referal bonus in which our company will ask our existing customers to refer our cars and get bonus if their referals buy cars from our company.

The potential risks tha firm takes in incorporating sales promotions into its broader IBP campaign is increasing cost of business because promotion of selling required huge amount of money and compensation to sales person. second, Brand image can be at risk if car has issue then dissatisfied customer can do bad word of mounth and ruin the image of the brand.
