What are the goals of public health practice?
What are the benefits and harms of population screening?
Ans-
As we know that public health practice is an art of securing disease free public or prevention of disease and increase the life of humans..
So the basic goals of public health practice is promoting of public health by preventing public from.disease and promote there health so it is our aim as nursing department to make the human more healthy by preventing there disease and increase there health so the other goals are to make the public diseeas free and provide them all the knowledge about there health and how can they increase there health provide them knowledge about the types of Disease and there prevention.. by this goals we can achieve more public health..
Population screening-as we know that screening simply means devidation or to make the group according to there ability or chenges
Like different age group different size group and soo on..
So the banifits of population screening are that by screening of population we can easily detect them or we can easily mark them by the population screening we can determine there problem directly from.the group and can help them..
And as we know that grouping is more convenient then the whole around so there benefits..
And the harms are -
Some times mistakes can done during grouping or screening.
Like some times occurred false positive means people have no disease but there reports came positive so we can't accurately screen population because at the Genetic levels there are lots of variation which we can not easely screened ..
And some times peoples feels awkward thay why the screening-as in different groups..
So these are the harms of population screening..
Hope u understand the answer.
Thank-you ??
