Three main Components of intimate relationships of Robert J. Sternberg's are given below:-

  1. Intimacy :- Intimacy, show a closeness, connectedness, and bondedness in relationship.
  2. Passion :- passion shows the drives of romance, physical attraction, sexual attraction in loving relationship.
  3. Desicion\ Commitment :- It, means to take a decision in relationship to sustain for loong term and longlasting relationship with full proof commimtment.

Robert J. sternberg's believe intimate relationship is passion for presences of closeness, conecctedness and bondedness. In, any relationship commitment for longlasting togetherness is very important and that's why he given Triangle theory of Love.
