Keep a record of your use of the mass media-television, internet, facebook, gaming, movies, etc.-including your reason for using these sources.   Then take the role of a sociologist and write about how you might have been socialized by the media you used. What norms and values were you exposed to? How did they affect you? Which other agents of socialization (besides media) influenced your use of mass media (did peers or other groups/entities entice you?

Introduction :-Mass media being the easiest way to convey our thoughts is getting very popular these days,and as result,of this the use of social networking sites and other technology is increasing at rapid rate.I personally use facebook and internet as these provide useful source of information regarding the things that are going around the world.Apart from this i even prefer movies because sometimes even it gives some life learning lessons and its also a source of entertainment.  

As a Sociologist :-As a sociologist i would this mass media is most prominent and easiest way of getting knowledge of the this things happening across the world.Apart from this we also get a chance to present our views regarding the things that are taking place in our surrounding be it good or bad. Sometimes we even present our thoughts in this social sites which may arouse some sort of negative feeling among certain group of people,as such presenting our thoughts regarding the political parties which may not be liked by some group of people.

Besides media i was influenced by my peers for the use of mass media,because their growing knowledge regarding various things influenced me most for using mass media.
