Simply stating ethics is the practical application and learning of what is right and wrong, and then doing the right thing percieved by an individual. Social Responsibility on the other hand talks about the responsibility or the obligation an individual, organisation or any entity shares towards the society because it is essentially uses its resources and thus should pay back and do good for the people.

Social Responsibility and Ethics is a growing and developing discipline. Humans have started encouraging this discipline because of the rising knowledge and education among people and thus has incorporated this in the business area as well where employees and the organisations should be responsible enough to have established an ethical code of conduct for the internal working of the organisation as well as should perform all the ethical duties towards the society for benefit of people and customers. This domain have an international dimension as well and should not be ignored. It should be taken into consideration that every country has its own culture and every person has its own ethics, thus every organisation should work in such a manner where the personal goals of every individual and every employee is fulfilled with all the considerations of the cultural market you are targeting in.
