1) Most police believe that cybercrime is not their responsibility, but 2) when departments dedicate training and investigation resources to online crime, that police can successfully investigate these issues. Are police right - should another agency be responsible for cybercrime? If so, who? If not, why are they incorrect? Write a 150 word response using the readings from this week.
Cybercrime is no doubt a serious topic to discuss very easy to
investigate if we have the right kind of knowledge, experience and
some tools.
These kind of crimes are usually handled by cyber crime team which
is also comes in the police and in few areas, they are doing
exceptionally well by investigating the crime and finding the
guilty in no time because it's very easy to trace people if we know
someon'e IP address or some other kind of information that can help
in locating users.
There are some good minds that can completely trace the case in
no time but they are not working for the police, many of the police
officers are not good at programming and hence they need some
computer engineers to handle these kind of cases and it's not their
fault, because it's different wing and people in that wing are
doing great job.
The best way to stop or eliminate the cyber crime is to make people
aware about the online frauds about how they happen and what should
they don't do to avoid being victim such as sharing confidential
data over the internet.
These crime starts from our end and we can only control this.
No police are not responsible for the cyber crime, we're
responsible.
HOPE THIS WILL HELP. THANKS.
