Patient safety is an essential part of the nursing care that aims to prevent the avoidable errors and the patient harm .Patient safety is a feature of a healthcare system and a set of tested ways for improving care . The staff can apply these safety improvement methods to make the system of care more reliable .
We should have to focussing our efforts in the three key areas .
DEVELOPING A CULTURE OF SAFETY ;- as we ee the attitudes and behaviours that discourage the staff from learning from preventable incidents .This makes it more likely that the incident will be happen again . Organisation can the foster a proactive approach to the patient safety .
DESIGNING FOR RELIABILITY ;- As we can make healthcare more reliable , We can do this by agreeing to ways of working and a commiting to applying that knowledge .Since reliabilty changes our view of the world . It raises the importance of vigilance and sensitises us to the patient perspective .
HUMAN FACTOR AS STANDARD INTHE EDUCATION AND TRAINING ;- the human factors are those things that affect an individual's performance .A human factors approach is key to safer healthcare . As it will become part of the core curricula of all the health professionals . the training needs to be coordinated along with interperfessional lines.
PATIENT SAFETY AND HUMAN FACTORS ;- the human factors approach to te patient safety starts with an understanding of the things that support or hinder the way people work .
THINKING ABOUT PEOPLE AND THINKING ABOUT SYSTEM;- we have to need better system design . the system includes the goods equipments , devices , effective medication and information system used ,,IT is the jobs people do and the physical environment . Changes to the design of the physical things can make a big difference to how well people work . the interfaces of devices and control panels packaging upon lightenig level can all make a difference . But it is also the team work together and the culture that influences how they act .
THE successful implementation of competency based medical training or practice requires a seamless alignment with the culture and local health care needs of a community . As inthe countries with a limited economic and human resources , a critical assessment of the current health care practices as well as the training needs of varoius health care providers is crucial for the defining the required cadres for the program design and implementation. As the communication is a universal key competency that health care professionals need to be able to collaborate effectively . The communication is an individual professional's ability to converse effectively with other health care professionals , patients and families in the communities .
Collaboration in thehealth care can be described as teh capability of every health care professionals to effectively embrace complementary roles within a team , work cooperatively and share the responsibility for the problems solving and the decision needed to be formulated and carry out the plans for the patient care.

Assertiveness training aimed to improve the healthcare professional s wellbeing , job satisfaction , self esteem and workplace relationship . However , assertive communication training has also been recognized as a critical strategy for the addressing escalating concerns about teh significant number of errors inthe health care Internationally , assertiveness communication training programmes have been introduced to improved the healthcare professionals communication skills .
