Tell me about a brand whose name is descriptive of the product and/or its benefits. Even if it's obvious, explain how the name is descriptive of the product/benefits.
The example of a company having descriptive brand name is ' General Motor'. Descriptive brand names indicates the motive, features, product or service they produced, in their name. Descriptive name can be very beneficial for the firm as clearly interact the customers with the brand story. Some of the benefits of descriptive brand names are as follows -
1) You Don't to spare a lot money in advertising as by your brand name, customers will be already aware of your product or services.
2) It is easy to choose such kind of names and you don't have to think much. You can easily choose a catchy name.
'General Motor' is a descriptive brand name as the name clearly indicates that the company is involved in production if vehicles. It is easy to understand for the customers to know about the product of the general motor by its name.
