Corona virus belongs to the virus family of coronaviridae. Most scientists and health experts believe that the virus is transmitted from bats or pangolins. This virus is first transmitted from animals to humans in Wuhan,China.

Even though there are many strains of corona virus,but Covid-19 is a new strain which is called as severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. WHO declared covid-19 as a pandemic because we do not have any treatment for this virus and it has spread all over the world.

This virus spread form one person to another by water droplets. If an infected person coughs then the water droplets from the person will have virus which will cause disease in others of they are unprotected.

Effects:

Coronavirus has affected every sector of our world. As we know that world is under lockdown at a time. Every country have undergone lockdown to prevent the spread of the virus. Thousands of people lost their lives because of this virus.

When the virus enters our body symptoms can be likely to be seen in between 2- 14 days.

The symptoms include cough, fever, breathlessness, headache,sore throat, loss of smell, taste, and muscle pain. Risk factors for this virus include people who have severe illnesses such as kidney diseases,heart diseases, sickle cell anemia, obesity etc.

Most people are able to fight against the virus by themselves. 80% of people who are affected by the virus have recovered without any specialist treatment. Only some people are not able to fight against the virus and experience severe symptoms and illness. Most deaths of this virus is due to difficulty in breathing.

Corona virus is effecting heart, lungs, kidneys and liver. People who are already suffering from this diseases have high risk of being effected with covid-19 along with older people.

Covid had affected financial, education, health sectors all over the world. We are still fighting against the virus by taking precautions such as wearing masks, using sanitizers and washing hands frequently.

Scientists are still working towards development of vaccine for covid-19 virus. All we can do is being protected against the virus by taking precautions.
