Would traditional medicine be considered a part of a medical system?
The traditional medicine can be considered as a part of a medical system because nowdays, most of the people are well educated and actively participate in the decision making of health care.Allopathic physicians are also have concerns, that current western medicine is not meeting the client needs.In U.S and uk many professional groups are exploring the use of alternative medicine and many research are conducted in this area.A communication between allopathic physicians and alternative medicinal practitioner is established to provide proper information to the public and to educate them.Practitioners should also begin to understand and active participation of clients in managing chronic illness.The government also should provide financial support and steps to edcate the people.
Traditional medicine comprises several healing modalities, including herbs, diet, exercise,accupunture etc.some of the traditional medication system like homeopathy, traditional chinese medication requires certification of the practitioner.Alternative medicine is used in the place of traditional medicine or sometimes altogether. Acupunture: It is a method of stimulating certain points on the body by using a specific needles.In olden days it is used for relieving pains and aches,but in modern days it is used to alleviate life threatening problems.

Approximately over 25000, plant species are used medicinally throughout the world.A number of herbs have been determined to be safe and effective for a variety of conditions.Herbal therapy is used to restore balance within the individual by facilitating the person's self healing ability.

chiropractic therapy is a manual healing art.It is based on manipulation.Manipulation is defined as the forceful passive movement of a joint beyond its active limit of motion.These are treatment used in collaboration with alternative medicine and not in place of it.
Traditional medicine is due a revival. Modern medicine is desperately short of new treatments and seeking drugs.Making traditional medicine and its knowledge in modern healthcare and ensuring it meets the modern safety and efficacy standards is really beneficial to health system.. But marrying modern and traditional medicines facec lots of challenges due to the differencec in practice, evaluation and management. For example, traditional medicines are open access whereas the modern medicines are patent protected and closed. Also ethical issues are concerns . But still, researchs and studies are going on to connect the traditional and modern medicines.
