Explore the reasons why some people continue to smoke despite having a chronic respiratory disease. What social determinants of health will be affecting these decisions? Explain your response.

Smoking of tobacco use is the leading cause of respiratory diseases. Even if the chronic respiratory diseases occurs the people do not stop smoke beacuse of its addiction. Tobacco contain the nicotine. Nicotine acts in the brain. And nicotin stimulating the adrenal glands to release the hormone epinephrine and by increasing levels of the chemical messenger dopamine. It will cause addiction to the tobacco and people who use this can not suddenly stop this because of this addiction.
There are so many social and environmental factors or deteminants affect the smoking despite. Genetic factors are also a tregger to smoking.
Social determinants which lead to the smoking are peer group influence, job or economic status, mental status, educational status etc. The person who is addicted to smoke will never believes in the drawbacks of the smoking.
Denying is the determinant which lead the person to continue to smoke while he is in a dangerous health situation. He always emphasize the advantages of smoking and also peer group influence is also a reason for smoking.
The person who addicted to tobacco use will never realize the problems associated with tobacco use and if he met with a serious health problem he believe that no recovery from his present situation and no need of stoping smoking. He always try to deny the arguments from others.
Special therapies are needed to relieve from smoking. Usually the nicotine replacement therapy is using. In this therapy instructed the patient to take nicotine contain tabletes or chewing gum. This will produce necessary nicotine as the brain wish and gradually we can reduce the smoking. And also avoid the tregger factors is also a type of treatment.
