How can you apply Group Behavior to avoid catastrophic events in your job or future business?
In order to apply Group Behavior to avoid catastrophic events in our job or future business, first of all, the kind of group we are interested in joining, must be clarified. For example whether it shall be Interest group or Command group. This shall help understanding the idea of forming the group and the goals of such a group, besides its structure and activities that the Group shall undertake together. In order to avoid catastrophic events, the next step shall be to define the group roles and what kind of behavior and roles are the members in the group expected to assume or take charge of. Too much of expectations of divergent roles must be avoided because that may give rise to conflicts and confusion during the time of catastrophic events. Any workplace behavior that is deviant in nature, must be time observed and fixed so that it does not lead to be the contributor in a catastrophic event in our job. Such a behavior may involve a member to be aggressive, unproductive or there could be a member who abuses the office property thereby giving scope for the invitation of catastrophic events in terms of compromise of safety at the workplace, etc. The scope of group decision and group thinking should be widened but towards a positive direction. Politics should not give in to the non-wisdom decisions of the members in a group.
In this manner, one can apply Group Behavior to avoid catastrophic events in your job or future business.
