Feminist Ethics, Ethical Relativism, and Moral Nihilism Which of these three views do you find most appealing, and why? Can you illustrate the appeal of that view by way of a particular example where you think the view provides the right approach?

Feminist ethics is a critical analysis of  the cultural and ethical norms that vary for men and women where women are given less importance in the ethical principles than men. Ethical relativism is where the ethical values changes from culture to culture and the principles which are right in one culture might be wrong in the other. Moral nihilism is the concept where everything related to moral ethics is false .

Of these three views, ethical relativism is the most appealing. This is because it has a lot of meaning and it shows the different opinions of people and their way of considering ethics changes from their cultural upbringing. It is the reality we are living in and this view also shows how a person can assume something which is right for everybody as wrong because they believe it to be wrong as per their values.

For example one country considers children leaving their parent's house once they are 18 to be independent as ethical and correct . Some other country considers the same act as the lack of responsibility of children towards their parents and is ethically incorrect. This difference of opinions is because of the differences in their cultural beliefs . This is ethical relativism which can vary from country to country and culture to culture. It provides us the right approach by making us understand that everyone need not think the same way as we do and they differ in opinions depending on their cultural values.
