Catton analysed two generals named as Lee and Grant. Lee was of view that lower class people of society should be backed by government. He always talked about their wellfare. Grant always had thinking for good future of country at any cost.
He was concerned only about country. Grant was of view that country should remain united. People should not be divided on the basis of class and cast. Progress of nation is only thing that matters. Lee was firm believer that poor people are must for a good economy. They provide essential workforce for growth of nation. He told that slavery is must for growth of a nation.
Both of them were good fighters and had more advanced thinking and planning abilities than their enemies. Both of them were great thinker from the perspective of well being of their country. They wanted to keep their country progressive and safe at any cost.
Grant fought for saving union or country. Lee fought for saving slavery. Both of them were similar in their fighting styles and their motto of maintaining well being of nation with peace.
