CASE STUDY ON DIABETES MELLITUS---

It is most commonest in our country --

A 25 year male patient priyank Agarwal come to our department with diagnosis of diabetes mellitus with the chief complaint of -- dizziness for last 3 days and weakness for last 3 days .

and history of presenting illness is feeling weakness and difficult to walk for 3 days . he has past history of hypertension for 6 month . in family no body has any history.

In personal history - no history of smoking and alcohol , and diet is also normal.

Physical examination -- Gait is uncoorinated , built is general , vital signs are also assesed.

general examination-- pallor , irectus is absent , lymph node is non palpable .

On physical examination -- their is blurring of vision., in oral cavity - dental caries is common ,all cns as well as other examination are normal.

their is discomfort in sleep and patient was anoxious.

Investigation-- hematological , electrolyte as well as urine analysis is done .{ color of urine is light yellow , transparency is clear }. random blood glucose level ,fasting glucose level and glucose tolerance test,is also investigated.

On clinical manifestation -- polyuria , polydypsia ,polyphagia ,visual blurring ,fatigue,weight loss,coma.

Management -- 1. prevention of obesity ,illness,and control of hypertension.,Insulin therapy , Diabetic Diet , medicine , emergency care in case of diabetes ketoacidosis.

Complications-- weakness , confusion , seizures ,prone to infections , Arteriosclerosis ,ulcers and infections of feet , neuropathy, retinopathy , nephropathy.
