What would you suggest these organizations do when they lose a portion or even all of the funding for the outreach program?
Most of the outreach programs of governments, organizations, NGOs depend on the funds they receive from various fronts. Although there are some voluntary human helping, the material needs and the administrative areas might still need funding to continue with the programs. At the event of reduced funding, the organizations would either reduce the number of beneficiaries or the amount of benefit but either way it's going to affect those at the receiving end. Secondly, they might drop some of the programs that would not only affect people who receive them but also people who were employed based on those programs. Thirdly, if they stop receiving the funding, they have to stop the outreach activity abruptly and it would question the reliability and credibility of the organization that runs the program. Alternatively, the organizations may look for more voluntary support from across the globe in terms of human, material and financial support.
