a) Ethical dilemma refers to a circumstance where a troublesome decision must be made between two approaches, both of which involves violating an ethical standard. Yes, ethical dilemma is present in the situation mentioned. The woman has two options - either to fight legal battle against executive or settle everything by taking monetary settlement. I believe , one should opt for former option because as mentioned in the study - this was not the first time executive did something like this. Therefore, fighting a legal battle would ensure executive being punished for his wrong deeds as well as safeguarding other female co-workers from going through all that the lady went through.
b) There are basically 5 major ethical conflicts, such as -
