Business 2 Consumers (B2C) and Business 2 Business (B2B)
Business to consumer / B2C marketing means to the schemes and strategies in which a firm promotes its products and services to customers by creating, advertising, and selling o for customers to use in their routines.B2C marketing is done both online&offline, but usually the term B2C is used to mention to the online. B2C markting have benefited a lot from the fast development of commercial Internet in the past years. These stimulated the use of the Internet by investing large amount towards the consumer in the form of online services and products. This positively stimulated the adoption of the Internet in business; If investors lost confidence then B2C will hit the worst. Many businesses tried a different marketing strategies and invested in a transformation from B2C marketing to B2B marketing. B2B model deals with the goods and services are sold between companies.
Supply chain
how companies operate ? they are key players in getting a product to another user; However, consumer can be very different when it comes business enviornment.The relationships are internal matter of firms and it’s important to determine how the supply chains vary with their business model. B2B supply chains are shorter than B2C. Their transactions are more direct and short supply chains are more effective at delivering their buyers needs. B2C supply chains often use more input from customers B2C supply chain have multiple producers,retailers,wholesalers etc before it reach into the hands of the consumer. B2B companies usually have to manage stock control whereas B2C companies have more inputs from suppliers for specialized products then, their chain gets longer and longer.
Market research
B2B and B2C are both marketing terms that used to refer the relationship between two groups of a marketing operations, the strategies of market research and benefits differ because the relationships are unique from one another. B2C purchases are based more on emotion , while B2B business are based more on logic. There are benefits to both this market research, and ultimately both create an chance to guide the potential customer to purchase a product or service.
Integrated marketing communications , media and digital marketing
Firstly, target the audience identification,-then set the communities objectives and messages - selecting media - budget planning- results evaluation and managing of results. it may seem that the process itis the same in both B2C, B2B situations, however, it has many differences as well as based on the business aspects. B2B digital marketing has a slightly different objective involving long term relationship while comparing to the social media strategy in B2C.Those B2C companies deals with twitter, Facebook to reach wider customers, on the other hand, B2B companies oriented towards Fiverr, LinkedIn as a way to establish networks with active business connections. In B2B digital marketing, the utilization of fresh and trending social media networks is not suitable in any way because teenage consumers are the users of this type of social platform. I am not mentioned that B2B do not or should not use Facebook for promotional activities. but they have to opt for the best social media marketing approach that targets the exact relevant audience for them.
