Discuss how Space Law has evolved. How is it applied to industrialized nations that use space as a resource, as a weapon?
Space law is a law or a comprehensive regulatory system that governs the space authority, territory demarcation and various other matters concerning space. The first mention of the law began in 1910 and since then, it is ever developing. However, the launch of Sputnik 1 by Russia opened new horizons for space law. Since then, various developments such as the landing of the first human on the moon and space made people think over the need for a comprehensive legal system. Many decisions, modifications, and alterations in the legal system was made continuously since then, making it one of the most comprehensive and complicated legal systems in the world.
The application of space law in industrialized nations include, demarcation of spacial territories of each nation, liability for damage of any space-related missions, manner of launch, etc.
