How does viruses propagate within computers? Justify your reasoning and answer.
Viruses propagate between computers by being attached to another program. Computer-to-computer transmission methods are email attachments, file transfer from peer-to-peer networks, certain social networks, and many websites where the visitor would have to download a program or specific file from the website to experience the website's contents. It is important to never hastily click on links where the origin is questionable and to always look for the s in HTTPS. Propagation vectors are methods for malware to move to a victim's computer and all of the methods to transferred to another computer is USB RAM stick, a download from a tampered website, and email attachment, a social media site sharing, and some peer-to-peer file sharing. Once the virus can get to another computer and the infected program is executed by the computer, then the other program that is on the computer can be compromised by the virus.
There are many propagation vectors and viruses can spread between computers by when an infected program is transferred to another computer through numerous ways.
