A researcher in the lab is suddenly curious about financial decision-making in megachurches in the United States. What are important questions to ask, why are they important, and how would you start to investigate these questions?
The most important question that should be asked is 'what is the need of selling God?'
Other questions can be based on the use of the moneys and what benefits they get from these moneys and making such mega churches all over the world.
(i) How do you use the money from the people?
(ii) What is your gain by collecting all money from the poor people and then building the churches all over the world?
(iii) Is this really worshiping of God or just the business?
(iv) If this really is worship, then the most easier way to worship or please your God is by providing them help both mentally and financially but your are just taking money from them. Is that thing right?
(v) Common people become blind and just lots of money on coming for a prayer meeting in a megachurch. When did God started to ask money in exchange of the wish fulfilment?
(vi) There are lots of people who believes you and relies on you even for their physical conditions and chronic disorders and doesnot choose to go to the hospitals. What do you have to say about them?
All these questions are important just because there comes a new slogan ' God for Sale'. I do believe in God. I do believe in the miraculous power of the God. But I not blinded by the business that is going on around the believers and God. I beleive that its not just the power of God. He helps us and also want us to try our best for acheiving the wish. And I believe he should be for sale. Its not just by belief , God is not for sale. He is the Almighty power, then why does he want money in exchange of the wish fulfilment. It is beyond thoughtful thinking.
Observation should be primary thing. Observe the things that is happening and with the help of the prooves and evidences that are available through our observation, we can start investigating the questions.
