Distribution intensity could be defined as the availability level for any particular product by the marketer for the market. The level of intensity depends upon various factors such as the capacity of the production, target market's size, promotion and pricing policies and the level of product service which are extensively required by the end user.
Considerably there exists three levels of distribution intensity
which are Intensive, Selective and Exclusive Levels. Where
Intensive levels are used for the products which are readily and
easily available at all the small large stores like bread and eggs,
Selective are the products which are available on at some stores of
selective areas like Television or Phones. On the other hand,
exclusive are the products which are not available anywhere and are
very rarely found and designed and are also very costly because of
their premium quality and price.
Thus, Tesla Drone being one of its kind is again one of the most
premium designs drones used for the specialised services is rarely
available at some places in the world falls into the Exclusive
Intensity of Distribution because of its exclusive design, use and
quality.
