Expert Solution

A financial statement is a written document that records all the activities of the business and financial performance. Every company prepares the financial statement on a set frequency like a month, quarter and year to understand the progress of business and alignment of the business activities to the organization's financial objectives. Publicly listed companies are mandated to publish their financial statements in their annual report. The three core parts of any financial statements are as follows:

a. Balance sheet: This sheet details about the assets and liabilities which the company owns.

b. Profit and loss sheet: this sheet is very important as it indicates the operational efficiency in terms of operating margin and net profit.

c. Cash flow statement; this statement gives us the idea about the status and health of cash flow at the organization.

To export the financial statements, data can be obtained through web query in excel or through data scrapping either manually or through bots. The financial statements can be exported in CSV format also.
