Dear Students,
For this assignment you are asked to develop a Project Schedule Management Question and solve it with PERT Analysis and Project Crashing. In other words, you will be creating your unique question of your own and solve it. Follow the instructions below;
1. Design a project that consists of min 7 - max 10 activities, and define arbitrary Predecessor relationships between these project activities . Assign durations to these activities with 3 point estimates.
2. Apply PERT analysis to your project. If you found only 1 critical path, return back to the first step and re-design your project so that you make sure it has 2 critical paths.
3. Estimate (arbitrary) Crash durations, Normal costs and Crash costs. Then implement Crashing method you learned to shorten the project for 2 periods. Write the total cost of the project after crashing it 2 periods.
All the work must be handwritten. Take a photo or scan your work and upload to CATS/Assignment 2. Important Note: Similar projects will get lower grades, identical projects will not be graded. Hence, be creative to customize your Project.
