What is Big Data analytics? How does it differ from regular analytics? Explain with your own words please
Big Data Analytics:
Big Data can be defined as a kind of advanced analytic techniques which is used to analyze complex set of data which are large and diverse in nature. It typically means those data whose size or kind is beyond the ability of a traditional analytic system to capture and analyze.
The difference of big data from regular analytics is explained below:
1. Regular analytics deals with collecting, inspecting and modelling data with the objective of providing useful information for decision making. But big data deals with a huge volume of difficult data which cannot be processed through traditional data processing methods.
2. Data analytics is used for taking important business in sights, while big data is used for identifying system bottlenecks for big scale data processing system.
3. Simply put down the concept of data science is to analyze data while the concept of big data is to handle large data.
4. The skills required for the data analytics would be knowledge of statistics, mathematics etc while a skill required for big data analysis would be knowledge of programming.
