Control functions can either be detective or preventive. It is the process of comparing the actual performance with the set standards

Dangers to a company if manager bypasses the control function are as follows-

1. No error identification is done and it will lead to decrease in customer satisfaction and increases operating costs

2. Difficult for business to take corrective actions to achieve set goals

3. Difficult for business to measure or compare the actual performance with the set stands

4. No corrective actions will be taken by company if company not performed according to set plans
