How does the staffing of a given unit relate to the staffing patterns of the total organization? Should the staffing pattern of a given unit relate to the total organization?

Solutions

Expert Solution

The Staffing should be optimized on across the entire organization. So any alteration or a change in a unit level can causes various effects or disturbances in entire organization. In an organisation for smooth working and good productivity all the units should work together or simultaneously . This is applicable in staffing. Each unit should have sufficient staff for efficient working condition for good outcome or productivity. Each unit constitute a organisation so total strength of staff are determined by seeing staffs of each unit . If in a unit the staffing is not proper it can affect the productivity of that unit which inturn causes problem to the entire organization For instance, if there is staff shortage in any department, usually in the nursing side, supervisor pull out a staff from other departments which can cause inconvenience to the that staff and department where staff is pulled out. So entire organization is disturbed. So staffing of a unit should directly relate to the staffing pattern of the total organization.
