  • Integrity is a state of mind and is not situational. If you compromise your integrity in small situations with little consequence, then it becomes very easy to compromise on the small situations. It is perhaps the most important principle of relationships and dependent on integrity because it demands truthfulness and honesty.
  • Integrity means telling the truth even if the truth is ugly. Better to be honest than to delude others, because then you are probably deluding yourself, too.
  • Working with different people to better something in the society requires integrity. When people work together as team in community building, integrity and honesty comes first as the foundational principle.
  • For example, working together to identify and implement appropriate, viable solutions to improve the integrity of public infrastructure and services. Integrity here is defined as the alignment of Accountability, Competence, Ethics, without corruption.Being true to yourself and the purpose is very important for succeeding.
  • My relationship with a friend also ended because the promises were not kept and because of betrayal of trust. No relationship, whether its work related or personal can survive without integrity and being honest not just with yourself but the other person as well.
