Please respond to one of the two questions listed below.
1. Discuss the relationship between an organizational mission statement, philosophy, goals, objectives, policies, procedures and rules. Review the mission and goals and objectives within your own organization and evaluate how consistent they are with the organization and how well they are being achieved. How well does your organization communicate these to you? Do you feel you play a role in your organization's mission and how?
2. Identify strategies to manage resistance to change with your organization. Discuss how these strategies could be implemented. Give examples of change you have experienced within an organization and discuss how you responded to change. Why is resistance an expected response to change?

Identify strategies to manage resistance to change with your organization:
The stretegies that can be used to manage resistance to change includes the following:
1. Choosing management: The management method or personnel have to be selected after careful consideration and thoughtful decision making in order to manage resistance.
2. identifying root case: Resistance can be managed effectively if the root cause is correctly identified and handled in an effective manner.
3. Arranging multiple dscussion rounds: Change cannot be accepted or easily mitigated n the first discussion or meeting. Multile discussion seesion between management and employees should be conducted and enough time given to evaluate after discussion. by this way we can effectively manage resistance to change in the organization.
Discuss how these strategies could be implemented
The implementation of the change is they critical part of inforcing any changein the organization. before implementing any change a secret or confidence survey needs to be conducted to undertand the side and position of the employees by the management. A discussion and informative session is required to be held before change so that the importance and requirement is effectively communicated to everyone. During implementation a ameable transition period with room for erros and disagreement needs to be given so that change is easily and effectively assimilated.
Give examples of change you have experienced within an organization and discuss how you responded to change. Why is resistance an expected response to change?
An example of the change in my organization was when the duty allocation was decided to be randomly generated by a software system. The random duty assignment was implemented so that there was no complains as to some employees are favoured or some get advantage, But there was expected resistance to the change as the random duty assignment did not taken into account the age, family resposbility, mother and flexible members in duty allocation. The change resulted in reistance as majority of the members were disturbed by the random duty assigned to them which also included night shifts to individuals who had medical, family and other problems. I ws single and flexible to the random duty allocation but I realised he duties assignment seems unfair at times but cionsidering the health status, family responsibilities and other factors the chage was not given a holistic thought before implementation and should have been implemented with a discussion and opinion session to be implemented effectively and avoid resistance.
Why is resistance an expected response to change?
Reisitance is expected response to change as humans we quickly adapt outselves to the surrounding may that we friends, family, neighbourhood, job profile, etc. but when a change comes we are taken out of the comfort zone created and it leads to anxiety and unpredictability of the change being feasable/beneficail and also trnasition being easy to tough. Hence to resists is to show our opinions and get clarity over change and have implementation be effective so as to accomodate and be effective.
