Positivism :-
E.assumes that there is an objective reality that all humans share.
The reason is as follows :---
Positivism is an approach of sociology(i.e. study of society) based upon scientific attitude such as experiments, statistics or proved facts etc. It was established by Auguste Comte and Emile Dorkheim in 19th century. The main thought behind this approach was " the scientific study of the society".Comte, the main thinker of this approach was of the view that like universal scientific laws (eg. the law of friction) there are social laws which exist in the society. In this way the option E will be the right option as it states that Positivism assumes that there is an objective reality that all humans share.
Comte always believed that a sociologist should never carried away by the emotions, feelings or motives etc of human being but they should infer a classified information which can be observed objectively and then can be studied as a whole or can be made universal social law.
