False recognition as the name is suggesting itself that it relates to some errors in memory. In this condition, a person may recall an event which actually did not take place in past. There may also be recalling of different version of event.

When a person finds difficulties in making adjustments with his/her surroundings then such false recognition may take place. Emotional instability also causes such types of false recognition. It has also been claimed by many scientists that anxiety and stress also creates circumstances in which huge errors may take place in recalling of an event.

If our brain does not store information in a proper manner then false memories may become dominant. False memory is very common in present time because we are getting habitual of easy doings.

In present time we take help of various instruments for solving a problem. We search on internet about each and every new thing. We take help of calculators to solve a numerical. Habit of reading books is diminishing day by day.

Critical thinking abilities are also on downside which ultimately leads to development of false recognition memory. Critical analysis of any event is a crucial factor in elimination of false memory.
