This is for a hotel project. The first phase is a restaurant and the 2nd phase is the hotel. It will be located on a small island in the Caribbean in the United States Virgin Islands.

I. Vision statement: To be revered as the finest hospitality destination in the carribbean known for its ethics, respect and unique offereings to its customers.

II. Mission statement: Establishing a world class restaurant and hotel in the south coast of carribbean in a record time of 2 years and attracting best of talent to provide best in class service.

III.(A). General environment:  The proposed hotel " Blue Ridge" located in the south coast of the carribbean island and is easliy reachable through air and water from the nearest airport and ports loated less than 3 miles form the hotel. Its prestine blue water beaches and under water rooms and decks provide unique living experience for the guests. We are planning to build the hotel with 1000 keys and a restaurant with 500 tables facing the beach. We intend to cater to the tourist  pouplation of more than 1 million that are expected to travel to the isalnds every year.

III (B): Industry environment and competition: The island is expected to become a major tourist attracction in the coming years due to upcoming theme parks and casinos in the vicinity. Therefor it is expected that the tourist population of the island is expected to surge to 3-5 million in th next 10 years. considering the demand and the limited number of competitoirs who can provide 5 star hotel experience and unique offerings like under sea decks, customised menus, water sports etc., available at our hotel and restaurants , we are in good position to attract a good 60-70% market share in this segment. Our main competitors include "The Oceanic " and "The Serene county" who offer similar but less unique offerings with more focus on traditional service offerings.

III (C): Location Description: The hotel is located on the south coast of the island and is nearly 3 miles from the nearest port and airports. Our hotel has a private beach of more than a 500 meters to cater to the customers of our hotel. It is very close to the upcoming theme park and the water sport and boating club. Customers can avail the island tour on an open top bus which starts every morning at 7 Am and takees about an hour to cover the important places in the island.,

IV. Disctinctive competencies: Our restaurant located on the beach front of the hotel is planned to open early next year and is expected to cater delicacies from across 4 continents and over 100 countires. Customers have an option of customising their menus online and place orders before reaching the restaurant. Unique wine tasting ceremonies are held every thurday with displays of wines and other beverages on display althrought ehweek for consumpation ad purchase. Our hotel also has a unique design with private pool and beach view from all rooms and our customers also have access to private beaches and water sports at an additional cost.
