CULTURAL COMPETENCY in health care describes the ability of systems to provide care to patients with diverse values,belief and behaviors,including the tailoring of health care delivery to meet patient's social,cultural and linguistic needs

-help them obtain a certificte in cultural competence because culturally competent training ,a workshop,or a journal articles,textbooks and the internet also offer great information that can help improve cultural competence
-improve communication and lanuage barriers because language is the key to accessing a culture
-directly engage in cross-cultural interaction with patients because understanding that each patient is a unique person can help nurses effectively interact with patients .
-encourage staff to participate in online chats and networks can have a great influence on improving nurses perceived cultural competency and cultuaral awareness and keeping them up-to-date on cultural competency issues
