Sensory disorder occurs when one is unable to sense or percieve a stimuli in appropriate manner.
I choose sensory processing disorder (SPD) .
In SPD , there is strong reactive reaction to certain stimulus. For example , a child might get strong reactive behavior after lestening a specific word suddenly . One might get affected by seeing an object fall , like duster in classroom and he tries to save himself going underneath the desk. He percieve that duster is falling upon him .
Challenges
SPD client has to face many challenges themselves and their parents and teacher also has to face.
One has to constantly avoid the those auditory or visual stimulus so it creates an extra burden on them. They find it difficult to attend normal colleges and school and require special attention . These all happen because their reaction to aversive stimulus include crying for hours or shouting in loud voice.
